Noodles and Beef

I’ve written a lot about my love of hot springs and bathing culture…natural hot springs are just so special to me.

Dad used to take me hiking to natural hot springs deep in Big Sur…and now the smell of sulfur makes me nostalgic.

Squat rack was taken.

Soooo…Twenty-two 45-pound plates for 990lbs at six reps.

Yes, I know it doesn’t mean anything because its leg press.

Still very happy I finally maxed out the machine.

It was very cold and windy, so we mostly stayed behind the rocks and laid out in the sun.

Surprise layover in Hawaii for @innerbear‘s birthday!

I love you, pup!  Happy birthday to the man I would jump out of a plane for :)

It was a mind blowing, universe shattering, reality questioning jump and I’m so glad to share it with you.

Obligatory brooding sea wall photos.

Protip: crossing your arms makes them look bigger by squishing your biceps with your hands.

Lady Bay is one of the nicest nude beaches, coming in second after Secret Beach in Kauai.  Small, but with facilities, waterfall, and a section of beach that is swimmable.  (Most nude beaches are filled with rocks, dangerous rip currents, or lack facilities because they’re unofficial).

Perfect day at Lady Bay Beach, Sydney’s nude beach.

Got a mix of “fish ‘n chips” which included oysters, mussels, octopus, squid, scallops, shrimp, and more.  Absolutely delicious…ate it to crashing waves.

My outfit for marching in the Mardi Gras parade.

We met with the Sirius pups about four hours before the parade started in Hyde Park.

Hotel Butts: Sydney, Australia

Tank and I stayed at a shabby hostel near the gay village to save money.  Terrible experience compared to American hostels.  Bugs everywhere, used condoms in our room, no AC…but, the communal showers were nice.

Weird… The caption didn’t post. Silly tumblr.

I’ve been saving up for a pair of custom leather short-shorts chaps from MR S Leather for a while. My thighs are just big enough that I can’t buy off the rack. Rough cost is $300.

Then I found these chaps at Sax on Oxford Street (Sydney’s gay village). They fit like they had been custom tailored to my wacky proportions, made of high quality Australian garment leather, with beautiful hardware. Only $180 USD.

I bought them immediately. And the leather baseball cap.

Going to wear this while marching in the Mardi Gras parade.
