&lt;p&gt;I’m certainly more defined, but I have lost considerable size. Frustrating!  I’ve also reached my mental capacity for body anxiety, and can no longer continue “cutting” because of how small I feel.  THEREFORE, I am officially beginning bulking.  Starting today.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="http://noodlesandbeef.com/post/16038887825/new-routine"&gt;Alexies’ routine&lt;/a&gt; is out, I’m going back to my &lt;a href="http://noodlesandbeef.com/tagged/gym"&gt;old bodybuilding routine&lt;/a&gt;…but I’m changing the order of muscle groups to how Alexies does it.  Seems to make much more sense.  Triceps and Chest on the same day? Of course! Duh!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The Chili Pepper infused vodka is so strong, that the smell from the jar burned my eyes.  OfGreatImportance/Brian drank some, and his breath is burning my face. He’s on the other side of the room.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Blackberry is also very delicious, but not nearly as intense. You’re all familiar with the Dylan Pose, but what about the other techniques and poses I use to make myself photograph better?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h2&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The Classic Dylan Pose&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;div&gt;Triceps out (pout is actually optional). Your Triceps are much larger than your biceps, so turning them outwards gives the illusion that your arms are &lt;em&gt;much&lt;/em&gt; bigger…and bigger arms (in contrast to your waist) makes you look proportionally &lt;em&gt;huge&lt;/em&gt;.  &lt;/div&gt;

This morning I was freaking out and in class and was just solely focused on how unfocused my brain was. How it keep going back to how much of a shitty work out I had. That I was getting too small…etc.&lt;br/&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I already made that decision when I switched from a &lt;em&gt;powerlifting-centric&lt;/em&gt; routine to a &lt;em&gt;hypertrophy &lt;/em&gt;routine.  Running on the routine from my powerlifting-ex, I was focused mostly on building strength and maximising my bodyweight to strength ratio.  I could lift nearly three-times my bodyweight…but I wasn’t growing much.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;When I started dating Mr January, I started lifting less weight, but I grew &lt;em&gt;much bigger&lt;/em&gt; and faster.&lt;/p&gt;

This pot is magical!

My adobo might look a little different than your typical adobo; it’s more like the Filipino version of Coq Au Vin.  If anyone is interested in trying, I highly recommend this simple, high-protein, high-calorie meal:

&lt;/p&gt;&lt;h2&gt;Ingredients:&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;2lbs Chicken Thighs (organic and cage-free if possible, the difference in flavour is noticible)&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;1 large red onion, diced&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;7 cloves garlic, smashed&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;2 tablespoons of ginger&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;2 teaspoons corriander seeds&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;1/2 cup soy sauce (try to use an unpasturized soy sauce like Oshawa brand)&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;3 bay leafs&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;2 teasoons Chicken Base&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;2 cans coconut milk&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;2 cans garbanzo beans&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;3/4 cup vinegar&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;h2&gt;Recipe&lt;/h2&gt;
&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;Bring olive oil to smoking in your dutch oven (or All-Clad pot), stirring in half the ginger and garlic until aromatic and golden&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Add onions and cook till translucent.  Remove from pan.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Bring olive oil to smoking, stiring in the remaining ginger and garlic till golden and aromatic.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Add chicken thighs (throroughly pat-dired, skin-side down).  Don’t crowd the pan.  You may need to do this in two batches.  Season chicken in pot with gratuitous amounts of pepper and garlic powder.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Flip chicken when skin in crispy.  Slowly discard the skin, reminding yourself that summer is coming and you want to fit in those speedos again.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Once chicken has been browned on each side, add coconut milk, garbonzo beans, chicken base, corriander seeds, vinegar and soysauce. Bring to boil, stir, reduce to simmer&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Cover with lid and let simmer for two hours (or until so tender that you can remove the bones without much effort)&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Bring heat to high and reduce liquid in half, scraping the bottom of the pan to get any stuck chunks of deliciousness.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Serve over brown rice&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Chicken Adobo in my new All-Clad pot (with a twist: I’m using coconut milk instead of water!), meals for the week, and now some infused vodka.&lt;/p&gt;
